This. Some souls games are challenging in a rewarding way. Others it's just fricking pain for the sake of making shite difficult. I hope it's the former. I don't want to breeze through the game but I don't want to spend an hour on a fricking boss either.

I don't mind bosses being really challenging. What I do mind is feeling on edge constantly while exploring because something might pop out and one-shot me without any fricking warning. Learning boss battles is fun challenging; having to memorize the overworld is not my cup of tea

I got Ravenclaw which ill keep, a patronus thats a newfoundland type of medium dog, and the 14 inch unicorn hair wand ill be tossing in the hogwarts express trash

Then yep, if you were planning on going Ravenclaw anyway, you're good to go. You can abandon the wand, and last I heard, patronuses (patroni?

I have black Swan too and was so confused.
Kinda upset no patrounous in game. Guess there’s no use. But still should be able to spawn it and have it walk with me

My tin foil hat or reasoning behind this no using patronus is that they will be used but once as we have seen dementors. Id say its likely its used once as a gimmick either a generic say unicorn, maybe an interactive cut scene, or just a full on cut scene.
Further a big reason i deduce its absence is that a majority and very large amount of fights all game will be person on person. So no need for a spell you can use for one thing literally and demeentors will be a one off set piece or maybe a boss. not types of mobs

Hopefully in the sequel they'll make Dementors a big part so we can Expecto Patronum a mother fricker or maybe use the Patronus in unique ways like in the books they carried messages. Maybe they can put a unique twist on that as well.
I totally cheated back when I did my Pottermore and got a hippogriff. It's the only thing I cheated on but I def didn't want to get a fricking salamander or a fricking mouse for a Patronus

Yeah I’m curious about the “dark arts arena”
I don’t have PS5 so will miss out on the hogsemead quest, but I I see what’s that about too
I’m getting it because of the early access (which I know see is available for XSX) and the other stuff is just whatever.
If someone is better at the internet and can find out about the bonus stuff, please share

Josh just confirmation i did it all correct:
Did all the sorting patronus wand crap
Then made a WB games account
Linked both accounts merged to my PS5 streamlining it all
Back to main page and confirmation All right?

It is all out there the dark arts arena is most likely going to come launch day aa a practice area, challenges for rewards, etc, It totally screams asset tossed into preorder already made for big 30$ dlc in 6 months brining pvp and a story reason with it,
Most other is all cosmetic except only PS5 preorder deluxe edition users will get to be able to make the literal potion of liquid luck lol
Oh and theirs an additonal hogsmeade quest you get. Consensus is its something with the shrieking shack

Looks like you're good. I'm not linking it to my Steam account, so I'm assuming I'm going to get a prompt to log into WB when I first boot up the game, not dissimilar to CDPR, Rockstar, etc, when you launch their newer games.
But ultimately, you should get confirmation in game. If you don't see it, we'll troubleshoot it. But it's not a "if you don't have it when you first boot up, it's gone" type thing. Nothing to stress over.

And what all do we get for doing this again other then mych better house robes?
I keep hitting the ps5 home screen out of RDR2 doing a black jack challenge just to see how very little the timer has tricked down

Yeah, I'm not happy about this, and if it starts becoming the norm in gaming, I could see consumers getting extremely fricking salty about it.

Just the robes and the mask. In fairness, it was just supposed to be a nod to long time HP fans, not necessarily a list of hoops worth jumping through for the reward
