Seems kind of spoilery to say that here

Okay. Then yes, I may or may not agree with you that a quest from Hogsmeade may or may not be very scary.

Anyways. frick the Well, Well, Well side quest. I spent so much time tracking that one down to get all the side quests done.

I just couldn't find the damn thing. Didn't want to look up what quest I was missing and wanted to find it naturally, but eventually caved in and looked up where it was on the map to start it. Was sitting on 31/32 quests for forever.

so i watched my wife play this game last night for about an hour. she was randomly/aimlessly walking around outside the castle doing side quests and i realized, "babe, you haven't done one single storyline mission or quest since i've been watching you."

she was just killing trolls, sucking up beasts in her bag, flying on her broom, etc.

she was in her own element playing a game she adored like a child at 32 years old. something i lost years ago. there is no longer a game on this earth, not even CoD, that has this kind of effect on me.

This game would be a lot better if they figured out a way to make certain spells context sensitive.

I know the game essentially gives you 3 spell palettes, but it's still annoying having to constantly swap spells because you don't have the right spell equipped for some arbitrary thing the game is asking you to do.

Agreed. I have all my combat combo sets mapped out, and it gets very annoying having to swap out some of the utility spells for a quick puzzle or something.

Have you guys been setting up the extra spell sets? You should be able to have two early so you can map an extra set of 4

I bought all the spell wheel slots as early as I can, so I can have 4 sets of 4 spells mapped out.

Damn I only did two I must’ve overlooked the other ones. Too late now. I do hate having to swap in and out the spells randomly. It seems to always be one of the 4

I have all four, and it’s not enough. I would hate playing with the base two

Five strikes me as what should be the minimum. Six would be better.

I always trust the internet more than myself.for builds and loadouts so skill trees are typically the first thing i google with a new game. Otherwise i might have missed the spell slots

I wouldn't mind having more spells per row. I get the limitation for console players, but for PC it should allow more since we have more keyboard options. Having to swap between rows in combat (so you have powers not on cooldown) is annoying.

I wouldn't mind two "spell books" one with four sheets for combat and one with a couple sheets for exploration spells. That way you don't have to worry about hitting non combat spells when fighting.

It's also ridiculous that you have to equip spells that only work in the room of requirement. I shouldn't have to replace my combat spells to build something real quick or farm animals.

Yep, it’s painfully stupid. I’m not willing to routinely frick with my other three rows, so row four is my utility row. Disillusionment for sneaking, levioso and the bag for beasts, and then I rotate the last spot for whatever I need to do in the moment, whether that’s RoR shite, or lumos/repairo while questing.

Though now that I’m getting closer to the end game and am not really capturing beasts anymore, I may rework that row as well.

I can't pass a Merlin trial or a treasure vault without stopping to clear it so I don't have to go back, and I wound up with so many toolbar slots devoted to the crap those need to solve the puzzles. There definitely should have been four combat toolbars, a beast related toolbar and a RoR toolbar.

I absolutely can pass those bitches by

Loot is so constant, I figure I'll worry about treasure vaults when I'm done with loot. As for the MT, when I walk by one, I eye what kind it is. If I can do it within a 50ft radius of the circle, I do it. If I have to go hunting moths or some shite, I pass
