Serious question, do you have a stake in all of these fake football games?

He does. He claims that he hates Madden and just wants a good football game and then comes in and hypes all these dookie arse Windows 98 junior high projects as some great feat in sports gaming.

the people that bitch about madden are the same ones that are mesmerized by the "realistic" graphics of the game. they don't care about gameplay. as long as it's a shiny, polished terd, they'll still eat it up.

You can on Madden. If anything the catch and turns are too quick this year, mainly on check downs.

I hear the same shite every year, that it's fixed blah blah. Every time I play at a friends house or God forbid pick it up, it's the same broken mess that operates based on animations instead of anything approaching real life movement.
So yeah, the graphics on these may be shite, but I can at least hope they aren't built on a faulty platform. It's painfully obvious they rushed Madden to get it onto the Xbox 369 Era devices, ruining the game, and instead of building from the ground up to fix it, just tried to throw lipstick on it. A person won a championship using a damn left handed punter as a QB last year.

Look at you building a strawman. My favorite football game was Madden 2005 followed by Madden 2007 on Gamecube. I freaking loved the QB cone for what it's worth.

I never cared for the QB cone because I almost always picked teams with young athletic qbs so their awareness was always low so they had a narrow arse passing cone. Awareness for User controlled QBs is the most pointless rating in gaming lol

The gameplay on this is shite. I will give them a tad bit of credit in that they added more coach roles and more in depth trading which Madden has no excuse not to have and I’ve been saying they need for 10 damn years, but if your on field gameplay is that bad, then who gives a shite about the off field fluff.
