i've been on the fence about buying the game due to the crashes, still a wait and see deal?

Thankfully I've only crashed once over the weekend.
They really do need to get a handle on this, there are far too many other games which are stable for people to move to.

My crashes have been pretty lucky. Only had them after extract so I still get all my xp and medals.

Are you on PS5 or PC?
Seems like PC players are seeing fewer crashes (or at least have more workarounds).
But even with the crashes, the game still plays fine most of the time. It's just that it really sucks when it does crash because it usually happens as you're finishing up a mission that took 30+ min and sometimes you lose all the samples you picked up and any XP you would have received for completing the mission.

I put in work on the Bots this weekend after normally sticking to the Bugs. I've learned to love the autocannon and shield generator relay

I learned the glories of the quasar cannon over the weekend. Just as I get to the point where I can reliably take down automaton drop-ships, we chase them out of the system.

Yep. We had trouble destroying the air shop factories. Hell bombs wouldn't do a damn thing

Got to level 6. My rifle does basically no damage to anything with armor.

You're at the point where you have to do a new strategy or really communicate your role with your squad

EATs will last you a while. Get rhe upgrade thar lowers the cool down time and you'll be spamming them all over the map

Y’all have a favorite planet yet? Think mine is Hellmire. Fire tornados aren’t the most fun to be around, especially when you’re trying to extract

I had one extract where the tornadoes were right on top of us. At that point I just ran and let them and my rover do the attacking while I dodged everything

Patch dropped today fixing lots of known crash issues. Devs have been good about providing regular hotfixes like this.

I’ve been waiting to see if this is a passing fad like pal world was kind of. I’m actually hearing this game is pretty legit though and maybe what I would consider possibly one of the first ever not scummy and done correctly live services? Is this accurate? Recommend purchase?
