I would sell my copy but it has a crack in the middle circle and I’m afraid even if I disclose it, the buyer could claim a refund. Still works

Yep that’s what I did. Same here, it was freezing after week 1. Well that sucks... I guess I have to start over without the updates

Unfortunately not. I downloaded one of the work in progress rosters that had all but 2 teams done and untouched conferences and I got to week 7 thinking it was all good until it froze there. Even simming the week freezes so it's gotta be something else corrupting the file.

I’ve never understood how this game can be so heavily favored towards the CPU for interceptions with default sliders.

It really is.
3-4 of his INT's, the receiver had the defender beat, but when you try to throw it deep, it under throws the ball.
Used to piss me off all the time that you couldn't choose to overthrow/almost overthrow receivers to avoid those types of INT's.

Unlike recent Madden games, man coverage is OP. The recovery speed and ability to close gaps in man coverage by the computer is insane. It's very frustrating, especially if you get a fast guy open and a linebacker catches up and picks it.

yeah i did just win a natty with ULL (Harry Mokeba OC who then was given the job when the HC left) but it still involves luck
if the CPU wants to beat you, there is nothing you can do. they'll call the perfect blitz and if you audible, audible into the perfect defense. you have to completely cheese if you want to always win

It's especially bad for rivalry games too. I forgot all about that. I'm playing as FAU and got pretty much a B or B- ratings and beat most of the better teams I play, but last week I played FIU who was D across the board and had like 2 wins all year and I couldn't do shite against them.

Because the games not that difficult? We used to pick D/C- teams and play dynasty and would usually end up with a NC by year three playing on AA or Heisman.
Dude isn’t hot routing, audibiling, and is playing with a DL, which is probably the easiest sign that he doesn’t really know what he’s doing.
