That's a bit of an exaggeration. Some mistakes, but nothing on the scale of battlefield and COD, which the general consensus is that they both suck badly

I mean, they have every right to be pissed off. How to you release without a multitude of playlists? This isn't rocket science. Halo invented the 1-50 ranking system. It should have shipped with ranked TS, Duos, FFA, BTB, Competitive and social everything else. I mean, it's not rocket science. The damn blueprint was laid out before them. Reintroduce clanmatches and people would go nuts.

They claim, while not directly calling it shite but it is shite, that their garbage UI is preventing them from adding playlists and that their garbage MTX and progression system is so entangled with their mixed playlists, that it isn’t easy to disentangle.

The game plays great. Progression is something I don't generally care much about as opposed to the ranked gameplay. I think once they figure out the UI issues and get some more segregation in game modes, people may calm down a bit.

Only beta in name due to campaign. It's the full MP nothing withheld.

Isn't that just part of a regular scheduled update? Along with more cosmetics.
From anything I've ever read from them directly or online the MP is fully released nothing beta about it.
You can go use those guns and play 20 more different game modes right now vs bots in custom games.
