I have heard a lot of great things about this Hades game that was on PC/Switch. It is releasing to the other systems this Friday (8/13). It's free if you have Xbox game pass.

I was going to buy Death's Door but will hold off till I finish Hades since it's free.

It's worth it, I played through probably 40 to 50 times. It gets repetitive, but the first few clears are very satisfying.

I too have heard extremely great reviews about from people who enjoy those top down rogue likes. It apparently had like an 80 hour fully voice cast story. Those games aren’t my thing but people I trust have said it’s 10:10

I own it and have probably played 20-30 hours, but never played it consistently.

It does get very repetitive, but every play through brings something new.

It’s fun. Very good for what it is. A quick time killer

Yep, each run takes between 10-35 minutes. It's easy to pick it up, make a couple of runs, and put it down. Plus, there is no penalty for dying except for losing your progress on that run. I still haven't beaten the final boss, but I imagine that once you can clear it consistently, the game loses it's shine.

yes the game becomes a non challenge almost instantly at a certain point. after i beat the final boss i havent lost a run yet. its more about unraveling the story at that point.

I have more time in this game than I wish to admit on here. I don't play it that much anymore. Once I hit 14 heat on all weapons I really did not feel like going any further.

This game has been an incredible time sink. It's a solid game for sure. Glad it was "free" but I could defend someone paying $30 for it.

It really makes me want to play Diablo 2 (when that releases) and God of War.

Either harpoon or the gun.

I'm always dashing and firing. Rarely using the Cast skill, which may be bad.
