Already discussed earlier in the thread, but the short answer is no, not just the inclusion of a female protagonist.

The only mention of it in this thread I saw was that years ago Rockstar mentioned that they arent going to poke fun at transsexuals and immigrants. I dont recall too much of that in past games, other than stereo types of everyone in American culture, so that just sounds like virtue signaling. But in any case I dont think the non inclusion of poking fun of certain groups is going to have much impact on the narrative. We will see though.
Besides they've already done a "woke" game with GTA 4 and the expansion Ballad of Gay Tony . The latter of which was centered on a character that is gay... and the entire base game centered around immigrants Niko and Roman. The whole Bryce Dawkins is closet gay sub plot was an attack on Republican "family values" Bernie Crane's whole sub plot was basically getting Niko to take out a bunch of homophobes. No one called it woke b/c that wasnt a criticism at the time.

No one has made the claim that these games were woke, because they weren't.

The reason it wasnt considered woke was because there were not a bunch of sensitive bitches making a big deal out of everything. We were kinda in the middle of PC backlash at that time at it was wonderful. It seems like culturally we are swinging back to that again.

Wow, I thought the entire trailer was comprised of cutscenes. I also wonder if they mean it was captured on a base PS5 or a Pro.

I don't know what they are going to have or not have in it. If you actually see some cringey shite I'm sure you will let us know. Any way that trailer gave me good ole GTA vibes and makes me want to play it even more. Id say job well done on that end. What did you think?

You are right I didnt understand what you were saying. I changed the subject bc I realized this was going no where as neither of us knows what direction the narrative will go and I was trying to end it by not being a dickhead and offering some friendly conversation.

I think by “gameplay” they mean the cinematic view that you can hit while you’re driving. It looks cool but not overly functional for anything technical.

I can almost guarantee it's on PS5 Pro
The ability to show off the game using the highest possible visuals is one of the main reasons why multiple graphics modes exist in games.

It is that plus more. If you played RDR 2, you can spot the game play, as RS got very good of seamless cut scene to game play in that one. Most of the over the should/behind shots are game play. The first one is in the first scene when the old guy is done talking to Jason and he walks through the door. That was straight RDR 2 style there. The others that are easy to see are driving in 1st person mode. That was introduced in GTA V.
It is some legit game play footage and it looks amazing.
