Couple of video's at this instagram.
There were others earlier, but I think he got hacked.
It's been a crazy last couple of hours. Someone actually put a stream up (PS3 version) for maybe about 2 minutes, until the stream got nuked by copyright

That's actually pretty awesome. Previously you could fly cars off of bridges and keep on trucking

Not straight arcade, but there is no need for a gta game to be completely realistic. If I ramp a car off a bridge, it should not kill me. This isn't forza.

Looks like they tweaked the driving mechanics. Nothing major but it does look different

My money is on Packie being the GTA icon.
I don't consider him to be icon status, but he would fit in with the whole heist theme of the game. He was instrumental in developing that huge heist from GTA IV. Also, he departs from Liberty City for no apparent reason at the end. I could easily see Packie being in the stable of potential associates you can recruit for missions.
ETA: glad to see some new fighting mechanics. Holy shite, Franklin dropped the hammer on that dude.
