What are some good headsets that aren’t too expensive, I know a few years ago their was the Phillips brand on. Are their any similar to that?

Logitech G430s - they are MRSP $79.99 but typically on Amazon for around $35-40.

What system(s) do you play on? I love my Hyper Cloud X Revolver S. LINK They plug into the USB or controller of the PS4. USB allows you to connect the volume and virtual dolby surround. Sound great on the Xbox plugged into the controller as well.

I would not call it trash. With dolby engaged it does perform well as far as being able relay directional sound and small details in the environment sound louder. I would agree the sound is not as crisp.. a bit of reverb....but its not bad. I do prefer playing in stereo and they sound fantastic in that mode. If stereo is all you want the Revolver set (minus the S) is cheaper. The Steele Series Acrtis 7 are great too around the same price but I just prefer the way the Revolver S fits on my head
