I haven't had to look at one in ages, but I would look for something on LTT or another big YouTuber like that.

Reddit always have good stuff

You should be able to get that 8700K to 5.2 ghz with an AIO. I got one to 5.0 with a Noctua.

What kind of voltages? My Mobo did an auto clock at 4.8 at 1.392v. terrible efficiency but it holds nice so I'm sure a manual tune will be good.

Alright

I'm getting low cinebench numbers around 1450 for a 5Ghz.

Set to 50 multiplier on 100BCLK, offset to 50, cache to 45, long load 120, short load 150, and line level 1. It settles to 1.36v in CPU Z. Single core is 218.

Seems low on the score. RAM has XMP enabled and profile is at 3200.

Well, it seems it could be just something running in the background. I got like 25fps gain so it works.

Yeah, it was between 1.3 and 1.5 on an Asus ROG Strix mobo. Not my PC though. I've got a locked CPU (i5 8400) myself.
I don't think it was delidded.

eBay 15% off. PRONTO15

EVGA is selling the 1080 ftw dt for 430. Top that off with 15% is unreal.

Even though it's a DT (detuned) you can still OC well. Mine is stable at 2038Mhz when normal FTW might not get 2025

Regular 1080 ftw for 440 refurbished LINK

Also good to get peripherals.

I'm a Logitech whore for their peripherals. Mouse, keyboard, speakers, controller, everything. I bet their USB steering wheel that they released for Gran Turismo 3 back in 2001 would still work too had I not sold it.

I have the wireless G613 keyboard and G703 mouse. LOVE them both especially since they're wireless.

I tried the G533 headset, but my a50s are so much better and more comfortable

I freaking love my mouse. I haven't really compared any keyboard but my Corsair k70 rapidfire is amazing. The brushed aluminum plate and the quickness of the keys are outstanding.

My headset is Phillips shp9500s with vmoda mic. Gonna mod the pads. Easily beat a lot of gaming headsets.

Ended up getting Sennheiser 598SR's and modmic 5 with that coupon. Just about done with getting everything purchased (windows and Noctua cooler remaining). Plan on building mid week, next week.

Got my 1080 to 2050Mhz playing with voltages and memory clocks. Apparently I can go up in memory, like +550, but it hurts boost clock. It would settle in at 1999. +400-450 is the sweet spot.

Also, I must have gotten a good OC card because a lot of regular 1080s can't get to 2025.

What do y’all think of this computer? It’s for sale on Facebook so you may or may not be able to see it.
