Game system advice

I’m going to be laid up for 2 months after surgery and I’m going to buy a game system to keep me busy. Mainly want to play stuff like NCAA football. Don’t need high power but enough to play.
PS: a good flight simulator would be great also.

Xbox is the way to go, based on that.

You can get it on PS5 also. Looks like there isn’t a lot of difference in the two systems price wise.

If this is really going to be a short lived thing, you could just get an Xbox 360 or ps3 and NCAA 14.

May or may not be but I’m open to previous systems. I’ve heard the older NCAA games are better due to micro transactions being added this year.

The cheapest route for current Gen would be a used XBox Series S (Not to be confused with the ONE S from previous gen).

I was just suggesting a cheaper route if you really are going to play for two months and not much after.
The new consoles aren't cheap, getting an older console will save you hundreds of dollars.

I’d probably go with an Xbox Series S for this. It’s relatively cheap, small, and should handle College Football without needing a huge setup. For flight sims I’d lean Xbox too since there are some solid options there. Two months of downtime would definitely have me looking for something comfortable with a big backlog of games.
