Nioh is definitely towards the top of my backlog.

Sekiro was amazing, and getting platinum is my proudest gaming achievement since the NES hard days.

I guess if you’re not into the brooding dark fantasy milieux then Souls wouldn’t be too appealing - it just so happens to be my favorite kind of fictional world to explore.

I'd probably have to say Nintendo purely because they have a huge variety of games, but the ability to constantly create great games as a triple A publisher at this point is awesome.

Nioh and Nioh 2 are f*cking AMAZING. They should be at the top of any backlog.

Nioh series is awesome. Sekiro I quit early on. Great game but I didn't like the mechanics as much as the souls games. I'll revist one day.

Dark Souls 1 is my favorite. Holds a special place in my heart.

IMO Sekiro takes (or took me at least) a lot longer for the FromSoft “click” moment than the others. But once It does it’s literally a dance. I forced myself by myself to get gud by taking on lady butterfly as early as available and it took like 4 hours didn’t use the cheese methods but after they I was a god. Prosthetics too. Way too many people underutilized them

Is there any developer close to that output, especially considering quality?

Yes
ID Software
1992: Wolfenstein 3D
1993: Doom
1994: Doom II
1996: Quake
1997: Quake II
1999: Quake III
All that in 7 years

Bethesda
2002: Morrowind
2006: Oblivion
2008: Fallout 3
2011: Skyrim
2015: Fallout 4
All that in 13 years

Some studios have big runs of success.
Could argue Activision as well with atarii many moons ago

After achieving platinum on Elden Ring and then starting up Bloodborne again for a couple of days, I decided that I needed to take a mental break from Souls games.

Reinstalled Valhalla again after not really getting past the introductory stuff the first go around. Man...what a boring and tedious chore this game is lol
