that's almost exactly what has happened to me. twice, while in last 10 alive. so frustrating

So there is SOME bullet drop with the sniper, correct? When I learn these guns it's going to be a blast.

Came in 8th with 2 kills last night. Found a sniper and got into an open field fire fight against a guy with an SMG, was able to drop him and found like 15 bandages. Guy to the top of a building and noticed I was where the circle was going to shrink to to I decided to fort up and wait for them. But apparently I don't know how to use the sniper at a distance, and eventually I gave my position away too much and had to bail. Got another guy with a shotty who was camping a tower, and eventually died trying to snipe someone running right at me.

I think also once I get used to the building interface that's going to open up a whole new world. It takes me too long to figure things out for just a rap to get to a chest.

I was thinking of buying PUBG so good to know its similar at least.

It's the same map but it doesn't approach the island from the same direction each time. I dropped into this one town with a lot of good stuff once so the next round I wanted to hit it again and realized it wasn't in the same spot.

had a sniper with 40 rnds, built a good structure and someone was able to knock down 2 walls silently and sneak up to shotgun me... what..the...frick....

I think what's tricky, at least in my experience, is knowing if you're going up against a common shotty or a rare shotty. I think it's cool that there are different tiers of weapons but it's frustrating when I think I have the drop on someone and I get killed in a heartbeat because they found that higher tier weapon and I had no shot.

It's "easy" to hang around till the last 20 or so players. At least in my experience, I normally jump out of the bus towards in the last 20 seconds. I'll usually encounter 2-3 people usually doing the same thing I'm doing: running to the next zone.

I've only had a couple of finishes outside the top 40. One I landed on the I think lonely lodge roof, axed thru to get to the bedroom with ammo but no weapon. I go downstairs where somebody else landed and get shot gunned. The very next game I land at the door and somebody lands on the roof, I pick up the shotgun, run up stairs and kill them

I've won three solos but finished 2nd like six times.

It's such a kick in the nuts
