The the pressure plate one by the block. Don't you need 3 people to stand on the plates? How are you supposed to get it? I even tried building over them but that didn't work

It's....ok.
First off, games only last around 5 minutes. So you're in and out pretty quick. Which is nice.
It's on the creative servers, so it can be buggy as all hell. And having boogie bombs to throw at other players is cancer, trying to deal with your momentum, environment, and impulses is hard enough.
That being said. When the server is running right, and you have a good run going, it's a lot of fricking fun. When everything flows right it's kind of addicting.
Then the server doesn't work, someone boogie bombs you, or their impulse sends you off course....and you hate it.
I've won 2 games so far. Highest point total is 296.

I played the Downtown drop a couple of times just to complete the challenges. It was ok. But I got grouped up with some good randoms on squads last night so I just kept playing that.

It's a combo of 2 things.
A) it funnels players to spots other than tilted, Megamall...etc.
B) it gives players who might not get many kills a sense of accomplishment. Keeps them coming back when normally they would get discouraged and switch to a different game. Especially kids 12 and under.
But they are obviously catering to kids this season, which is perfectly fine. It's a great business decision. I understand it.

I should have phrased it differently. I know what they are, but does everyone like the addition or not? I like it because it spreads people out more, but I haven’t really heard any opinions one way or the other.

I'm fine with them. I don't really care one or the other honestly. If it keeps more kids around, great. Game is getting so damn sweaty lately it's nice to have a few bots to feast on. I have carpal tunnel, my hand/forearm shouldn't be hurting so bad outside of arena mode, lol. I don't feel like building 12 miles high in every single fricking fight.
Only thing that I find kind of funny, is that Epic took out syphon and mats on kill because they said it made people too aggressive and promoted too much fighting in the early game.
But then add the wind tunnels, which push teams together, especially during the first/early second circle, and now high loot zones which create more aggressive drop areas.

Yeah I’ve only played a few solos this season and I’ve been getting worked. Hopefully I’ll get a solo dub by the end of the season but we’ll see. I much prefer duos or squads for the social aspect, but I also feel like I play better.

That is ironic. One of the toughest things I personally have to deal with is people gliding in on top of me. I still haven’t gotten the hang of it. I’ll build up and then of course he’s right behind me.

I bring this up because ive been scooting up closer lately and it seems to help reaction time. My eyes aren't great so always wearing glasses when I play. I feel like i'm still too far away though.

50” (this is in the game room) and I’m like 6 feet away. I’d love to be able to blame it on something that simple but it’s way more than just that for me.
