It's another thing I don't get the complaint about... Like this isn't COD where you can pick a GL attachment and just spam grenades using perks (the worst)... Like the guy came across an RPG as a loot drop (or kill drop), what is he supposed to do? Just leave it on the ground?

of course he is. the only honorable way to get wins in fortnite is with pump shotguns!!!!!1!!

forgive me for being mad that TWICE I killed everyone at the end and then get rocketed with 50hp left by some noob that hid the whole time. these cats only had 2 and 3 kills and they were using a weapon that doesn't require skill....so they're noobs
say what you want, win is a win, yada yada. when it happens to you, you'll feel pretty raw about it

I've had so many bush campers kill me and third party my fights that I no longer care to the extent I use to about wins. It doesn't take skill to win. I've watched so many people win that were truly horrible. I could put these people in a box if I wanted to.
What gets me mad the most is poor decisions on my part, bugs in the game, and bad teamwork.
Sure a 9 dmg shotgun shot is frustrating but I could have 1) put myself in a better position or 2) aim better.

My one solo win came when the other person died in the storm shift
I've been in the final 2 or 3 a few dozen times before that, and seem to always get smoked with a rpg or stupid crazy build/attack combo

I’m in that boat. Not camping, I don’t do that, but all of my wins have been some pretty fortunate situations for me at the end. not pure skill by any means. My brain doesn’t work fast enough to win a build battle at the end.
I think I have 2 solos 1 duo and 3 or 4 squad wins. I don’t claim to be good though.
Hell. My first solo win was me noticing that a trap elimination from somebody else was the next to last kill and then I baited the last guy into that trap. 2 kill win. My first squad win I had 0 kills but 10 assists and 3 revives with over 1k damage dealt.

Bro, don't confuse me. I can hang with some of the best in builds when I'm playing good. Lol
What is usually my problem when I die is third parties. Because I build better than most, they end up turtling up. Well with me trying to get in and it takes so long to get the replace their wall with yours ordeal, another person comes in and waits till I kill the other.
It's one of three scenarios with me
I win the build off, they turtle and I have enough resources to keep on and eventually win
I win the build off, they turtle and I don't have enough resources for other fights so I disengage.
I win build off, waste resources, win, then don't have enough to counter the guy coming in.
That's why I liked the SMG meta in solos.

And I can’t. My brain just doesn’t work fast enough to build and my brain sure can’t make my hands fast enough to do it.
All I meant is that I have a few wins that were purely luck, with a little bit of paying attention going on.

They have a lot of uses. Off the top of my head:
-Use them to trap players on ramps above you
-You can stack them on top of a roof above your head for 2x as many structures to destroy to shoot you inside a 1x1
-You can reinforce a bridge with them to have 2 objects to destroy to make it fall
-The edit structures have better peeking than a ramp
-You can place them on top of opponent 1x1s to prevent them editing out easily
-They have more starter health than a floor, so they are more useful for protecting you from incoming shots from above
They've been pretty prevalent on PC for a while
