For some reason, 343 posts the full Halo Infinite multiplayer reveal today

Anyway, here it is:

Things that stand out to me:
Having an inventory and being able to store equipment seems nice.
Vehicle variants might keep things fresh if they are balanced right, the Razorback is probably a big part of campaign for storing power weapons and equipment.
Thank CHRIST, ordinance drops are limited to BTB.
The UI looks small and minimalist, which I like after Halo 5's giant UI.
I despise smart scope aiming, especially with every gun.
Players can finally defend themselves against charged plasma pistols with a certain piece of equipment, but I don't think it's a proper nerf as you have to be facing the person firing it and activate it in time.
I hate seasons.

The big MS XBox stream did cover multiplayer, just not deep into it.

Watching these guys talk about “honoring the legacy” but keeping it fresh gives me a serious case of Deja vu.
It’s the same stuff every halo game, and they’ve progressively gotten worse since the original trilogy. 343 had done a number on a once great franchise.

Pure theatre. Gotta appease to all those autistic transgender gay incel gamers.
I think this game looks really fun.
I like the new power up mechanism and some of the new items like grapple. Just hope that when they speak of “legacy” they have a classic competitive playlist.
Want to see what sort of ranking system they have, hopefully they release more info on this leading up to release.
No word of beta?

I was only able to watch the first few minutes, but it looks decent. I just fully expect them to release it with no ranking system and not address that for months, and honestly - MP as a whole is kind of a dead genre right now. If they don’t address the elephant in the room (Battle Royale), it won’t have much staying power. That’s just the truth of where we are with shooters right now.
Although, a true 1-50 in game skill ranking by playlist might be what everyone’s been looking for

I think people are burnt out on those and that a 1-50 ranked small team competitive MP (without ridiculous payer movements) would be the perfect fix.
That, custom games and BTB. Perfect MP.

If it ships with a really good 1-50 ranking system and some good ranked playlists, you’re probably right.

If they want to release a BR MODE down the line after the regular release fine but this needs to be the main focus.

Personally think it’s crazy not to have a BR. I think the majority of newer players will immediately flock to the new BR game from CoD or whatever else drops holiday season. Just don’t think a 12v12 BTB will be enough.
Wouldn’t say I’m over the moon like all these youtubers but the game looks like it will be fun. Hope I’m wrong and the community stays strong for a long time. Because we probably would get another new halo this decade

I stopped playing/buying Fortnite BP (even before they completely changed the game) because I just didn't have enough time to complete them and earn the best stuff at the end.

I don’t know why H5 wasn’t a full fleshed out H2A. It was amazing
H5 still a ton of fun. But for competitive you have to go back to H2/H3/H2A Core.

I dunno about a grapple and flying around the map in MP. Weak arse noob moves in H5 MP like Spartan charge and ground pound already piss me off enough as is.
The ability to store power ups and use them when you want is cool though.
