Do you pivot at your wrist or do you pivot at your elbow?

I rest the bottom of my palm (right at my wrist) on the edge of my desk/mouse pad and use my wrist for aiming.

Apparently some people use an alternate way to aim where your wrist isn't touching any surface and you are moving your entire arm.

I'm thinking of trying the latter to see if it improves aim.

Your pad DOES have a wristpad, right?

Imagine being so poor that you're forced to play an FPS with a controller.

I choose not to. How awful.

I have a flat, hard top mouse pad

That would be miserable

I do a combination of elbow and wrist. I have my elbow to my mouse on my desk, do most stuff with my elbow, but then more precision and flicks with my wrist

Mostly with my wrist, I think, and I rest my elbow on the desk.

Hmmmm, my entire arm is off the side of my desk.

Apparently I need to push my mouse pad up.

I generally play on the lowest sensitivity I'm comfortable with. Which is about a 10 or 12 inch swipe to do a 180.

This. I do the same. It's just what feels the most natural. Guys like Shroud, TFue, Ninja...etc, all do the same as well.

Some don't even move the wrist at all, it's all elbow movement. But their sensitivity is insanely high too. They do a 360 in only 6 inches of movement.

I've played on 400 dpi and 800 dpi. I like 800 dpi more as when I get out of the game, it is better for general use.

My fortnite eDPI is 800x.065 right now for a 52. I generally go from 48-55. I've gone down to 40 (400x.10) and liked it but I do better with a little more wrist action than that allowed.

TSM_Viss tweeted out a video about turning it off. I didn't know anything about it.

That's why I said think about it.

Why would you want your mouse to accelerate when it feels like it?
