Just got the disc edition from target, I did everything in this thread, plus I got an app called hotstock, and paid the extra $5 for a premium subscription which gave me the notification 5 mins before the SS , worth it, picking up today from target

PS5 came in this morning with absolutely no notice whatsoever and much earlier than expected. Thought I was going to have to wait until Friday. Well, that's a pleasant surprise right there. Don't get too many of those lately.
They weren't kidding when they said this thing is an absolute unit and much heavier and bigger than the PS4.
I like how I grip the new controller. Hands will likely not have any problems adjusting going off first impressions alone.
Can't wait to fire it up with Spiderman later tonight after family dinner and bask in all the processing power and beautiful graphics.

If this story about crypto mining hack from China allowing the ps5 to mine is true, expect it to be next to impossible to get one for a long time. The story is in question but it looks like it could be real

Nice! Got the same with Demon Souls and the camera added to that bundle and 12 months instead of 1. Pretty happy. Congrats!

Got one yesterday at Wal-Mart in the 4th wave. The link in the OP worked for me. A couple fails but just left it in my cart and then checked out right at a drop time. Even had to go through two Captchas but got it done.
