Liked it at first then got bored with it. Started proviking police to chase me and see if I could escape. Played about 50 hrs.

Ya I got about 75% through and just stopped. The first person POV decision was so dumb

Hacking and health. I personally like the good guy storyline. It really makes you feel for the characters instead of being a total douche the entire time.

Did yall play after the 2.0 update? It really changed the game from being kind meh to one of my favorites. The Phantom Liberty DLC was great too..better than the base game story imo.

I liked the sidequest where you search out all the terminator/cyborgs. Sometimes you have to just disarm them instead of killing them. There's a shitload of them to hunt.

I caught it on sale a few months back, but I am now patiently waiting to do my PC upgrade, which is likely now pushed to the Cyber/Black Friday timeframe.
Same for No Man's Sky, but I may try that with the current setup.
(ETA: Shadowrun was my #1 SNES game, back in the day.)

I’ve already completed one full playthrough, but like you, I’m waiting for my next GPU upgrade before I do a full 2.0+PL playthrough. Figured there’s no hurry, so I might as well do it justice.

stick with the hacking if you like it.
i played a hacking character which is pretty uncharacteristic for me. by late game you can hack into people and things so much you can pretty much eliminate entire areas of enemies without them seeing you.

Finished it earlier this year along with the DLC at about 120 hours. Its a really cool game. Did it stick with me like HZD and Witcher 3 did months after completing? nah. But it was worth the effort to finish it and all the side quests.
Its really easy to get OP. I didnt care for melee so i did mostly hacking/shooting/stealth. Lots of sniping until that got boring. Going stealth is the most fun to me but it makes for a longer playthrough since youre taking your time doing the missions right. Ill admit by the end i was ready to be done with the side quests and commenced to just blasting my way though everything.
Dont skip out on the DLC. Its arguably better than the base game and its way more challenging. I was actually killed alot.

quote:i agree that it was a weird choice when they let you customize pretty much everything about your character’s looks.

Supposedly they did it so that you could be immersed and see how big the world was.
