Yea, there is 4 for this game.
The 3rd is around there.
I never had the head trainer get less than 43.
And anytime i was doing well he got 44.

I suspect Chapter 19 will be called "Five Years Ago..." and we won't be able to take control of any of the characters until the Nibelheim flashback begins.

Exactly... No reason to do all the dumb shite, which is especially obvious at the end, it gets out there. And I don't believe I am saying that because I know the original story, if anything a new player may be even more confused with all the hints they drop of late plot points being spoiled.. Time police is too much.

No, he's deliberately causing events to happen too early, which is triggering the "plot police," but they are being stretched so thin they don't catch everything.

New players I have talked to and feedback I have seen don’t really point to this. Granted it’s a small scale. But looking at the reviews it also seems like the plot changes just aren’t a big deal in the grand scheme of the game to this point. There will obviously be gate keepers/plot police as mentioned above but they will pale in comparison to those who are just having a good time.

To expect square to remake 7 and not try to include all that juicy awesome lore is a bit ridiculous imo. But how do they tie in all that lore? Well ya gatta frick with the plot a bit to tie it all in if your starting point is Midgar. Am I not going to buy if zack is a playable character at some point because plot!!! Ughhh no.

What chapter are you on?
And I don't necessarily mean a new player will be confused or can't enjoy it. Just that all the brief flashbacks to things that happen at the mid to climax of the original game will mean nothing to them. (Aerith's death, Cloud spoilers)

Which is fine because it will mean something to them eventually. Even give them something to look forward to. Never watched a movie with flashbacks/forwards?
