Just started Chapter 4 and I am pretty sure that I have missed things already but I am having a blast.

Excited about reaching the end of the game where right before you fight the final boss, it's revealed to be a computer virus and you're living in a VR simulation of FF7.

We can change this to spoilers thread or start one if you want to discuss it, I don't really care bc I'm only on chapter 5 but I can tell the ending is going to be a wtf moment just by the passing comments.
Square had a sure thing and apparently took a wild leap.
I don't really care bc I'm not a purist, so far the changes are interesting and makes it fresh

There's a lot of moments like this. I'm realizing playing this that the soundtrack is/was a huge part of why this game it's special to me. Every time I hear the old songs it just means so much more.
Sound , visuals, and gameplay are so top notch

Paying zero attention? I’m glad I know now, as I won’t buy it til the second and third part come out. Which will be.... when? Next year? 2 years?

No timeframe on the next ones but they are working on them now.
If it helps they expanded the first disc (this game) to a full length experience.
Instead of cutting corners and rushing it out they are likely cutting this game into. 3 full fledged games.
You will definitely get a good experience of you buy this now. It's obe if squares best efforts IMO. You can tell the amount of passion that went into it

I’ll probably end up giving in and buying it while stoned in the next couple of weeks. (Read: I’ll be high buying it soon ) but it seriously is kinda fricking lame. I dont wanna have to wait several years to finish the game.

Does anyone have a problem with random textures not loading? The door at clouds apartment straight up looks like it's from a ps2 game
