I’m currently at lvl 65 with my SAM. Still going through Heavensward MSQ.
I started on a preferred server, hence the high lvl. On Famfrit.

Very nice! SAM is a pretty fun class to play. I've almost got my SAM to 80. Just been doing random roulettes and beast tribe dailies.

Got the SAM to 70, finished the Heavensward MSQ, now grinding out the post content before Stormblood.
Been playing a Gunbreaker the past few days. Really fun tank class to play. People were right...it really is just a DPS that happens to be able to tank.
Very similar to a SAM to me honestly.

SAM and Gunbreaker are actually very similar. They've got more in common with each other than Gunbreaker does with the other tanks. I've had fun leveling it as well.

I have a level 80 SAM. I find the rotation a bit easy to screw up if you aren't paying attention.
I'm leveling RDM until Endwalker, and it is much easier to play.
I also find that I fit in more with the game world post-Stormblood expansion

It's a pretty nifty class with lots of utility. RDM raises are quite clutch if the healer dies.

Indeed they are.
Decided to take WHM into endwalker. I know I wanna try sage and I know I didn’t want to waste time with a DPS knowing I’m gonna mess with reaper for a bit.

Kinda disappointed that it took me so long to play this. Just finished Heavensward after getting hooked on the trial a month ago.

Awesome! The post HW stuff is pretty good too! There's really only one lull in the story once you get to Heavensward (and it's some of the post-Stormblood content), so I think you'll continue to enjoy it.

Main story I believe. Checking out some side content and other jobs before pushing on.
Been messing with tanks and I'm loving the DRK so far. Cool skill set and the job story seems really interesting.
Also got my first MGP mount lol. Adamantoise. Did not expect the rocket propelled spin cycle

I won’t the giant Catapot not to long after they released the gold saucer. It was just so unexpected and I haven’t been close since.
I was one of few who had the fenrir mount at the time. Was cool stuff. I have all but the chair mount for the gold saucer and I’m getting close.
I spend most of my time in ARR content to this day. The way I make my gil is the same way I made my gil in 2013. I’m a literal ARR classic player.
I witnessed Asmon go into the deep role playing state of FFXIV today. Even I was a bit surprised at it as a veteran. I knew the game was good and had a lotttt to offer but damn it’s even more than that.
WoW can recover but I do think it needs to be nuked and started over. It’s to late for retail I think. Time will tell.

It is in a class of its own in FF genre. I think Endwalker can be just as special. 13 years of this plot line is coming to an end. I can already imagine my wife balling most of the game.

Nah, just started the post-patches. Good to know there's even more.
Maining a Gunbreaker now. I find tanking even a bit easier than melee DPS, and the near insta-ques are nice.
