Glad they're helping tanks with blackfire. It's the dumbest mechanic and I still mess it up every so often.

Yup. Just upsetting. No organization for coils in FC. First time in t9 I get to dive bombs. Next night... hey guys I'm ready. Ohh we are full we are trying to help so n so clear. We will get you after. Ok. Well they don't clear and they burn out. Turns out so and so isn't even in FC and had just been using us for Carry's. Pretty much said frick it after that.

" Hey nappy, wanna join t9. "
" Nope, trying to get into a Faire(they all hate faire)static "

Their butthurt runs rampant right now.

Patch 3.1 is here! LINK

Trailer

Lots of the new content looks sexy. Really looking forward to airship exploration missions and the new dungeons/primal fight.

It's ok. I completed the Destiny content at launch and haven't really spent much time since. I hear Taken King is a lot of fun, but as you can see, I'm enjoying 14.

re: FFXIV Thread
This would release with fallout.

But typical FF. Grind for eso gear....patch brings higher gear drops. frick. I'm so excited I wasted all those hours running just those two dungs for the eso.

I mean, the only thing better than your eso gear is the i205 weapon from Thordan EX and the gear from the HM exploration missions. I don't think they invalidate the time you put into eso.

Especially considering that some of the upgraded eso gear is best in slot ahead of Savage gear. You can get twines and coats from centurio seals now as well..

I'd also think as to why they're doing it. People are having trouble beating savage, so they're giving players a chance to gear up more to have a better chance at it.

So you can now upgrade the eso gear?

You've been able to since the eso gear dropped. Previously, it only dropped gobcoats (accessories + belt) in Alexander 2 Savage, gobtwines (helm, body, legs, boots) in Alexander 3 Savage, and Gobdip (weapons) in Alexander 4 Savage.

Well, it's pretty freaking tough, so I'm glad they're doing something to help without nerfing. On Hyperion, there's only one static that's cleared all of it. Some of the fights are really fun though, so I do recommend giving it a shot.

My group is currently working on Alexander 4.

Damn I've done 1-4 but can't even begin to imagine doing savage without a static. I don't have to patience to dick around with a pub group.

I dunno about Exodus, but pugs clear Alexander 1 Savage all the night. Plenty of learning parties for it and A2S. A3S is the real lynchpin that holds people back. Very unforgiving on mechanics with several harsh DPS checks.

It's a incredibly fun and well designed fight though. One of my favorites.

Last night, I spent an hour or so doing an Diadem mission, which was a learning experience but still fun. I also did Arboretum, which was fun as well. It felt pretty unique. Will be running Void Ark tonight.

re: FFXIV Thread
Played 14 for about a month with some friends who recommended it to me and enjoyed it enough. I definitely see why it has so many subscribers.

However, I ultimately stopped playing because my friends were already at end game content and I after a month I was only like level 32 or something like that. Hard to level up to end game quick with work and a woman I have to plow.

I've contemplated picking it back up, just don't know how I feel paying a subscription fee for a game I already bought though.

re: FFXIV Thread
Only ran void ark last night.

Was ughhhh interesting. Fairly easy until the 2nd to last boss. Kind of a pain in the arse for a healer, granted just about everyone was new. We only wiped once in it. Didn't know it drops something that you can use to upgrade the ilvl200 gear. Was a nice surprise. The storyline was realllyyyyy short assuming I finished which I believe I did as there was no other option for a MSQ.

Your friends are dicks then. There's so many classes in this game, so they should have done content with you.

That said, as long as you do your roulettes, you should be farther ahead than that. Story content + Leveling Roulette should get you 1.5-2 levels a day if you only play an hour or so.

I thought about Void Ark last night, but I saw that tank queue time and bailed out immediately. Did some of the beast tribe quests (I want that Vanu emote), cleared Pharos HM (which was pretty fun), and attempted one lockout of Thordan EX. It's definitely not easy. Got to the 5th phase though which wasn't terrible.

re: FFXIV Thread
Might be getting back into this, but on PS4. Friend is really wanting to play but we both have kids and jobs, so it will be at the right pace.

You still on Hyperion?
