It really is a great experience. Hiding in the forest and picking off outpost guards is so much fricking fun man.

played a bit last night. took down the first radio tower and outpost and did a bit of hunting. its fun shite (from my hour of play)

A tip for you, check the handbook and look for activities that reward you with a white star as they unlock specialty weapons which are far better than anything else. I got a silencer/RD Vector on the first island when the stock version isn't even avaliable until the second island. They usually cost 3000+ though so upgrade that wallet and save up.

I used my Uplay points to get a handgun called the "Cannon." It kills any non-armored guard in one shot.

I kind of like the uplay thing. I got the cannon as well, I always have points to unlock extra stuff just by playing the game.

Quick question: I never played FC2(or 1). Will I be lost if I just start with 3? Is there any tie in at all? I'll probably get this game 2nd hand in the future if I'm not missing a back story

Sweet. Will play then. I kinda wish they would stop with the sequels if there is no tie in. It makes folks like me reluctant to buy. Anyone who is a completionist doesn't like to pick things up in the middle of a franchise. I was the same way with Skyrim
