I’m always excited about paradox releases; I them wait half a decade for a reasonable amount of the dlc to release before I’m willing to buy it

Sometimes the early versions of these games have some imbalanced stuff that makes them playable for me
For example with crusader kings 3, I could move armies instantly across continents. Like from Egypt to Sicily with no downtime. Was extremely broken and I managed to disband the Holy Roman Empire as a Muslim caliphate. Also took me 10 or so playthroughs to win, still.
They eventually patched that and I lost interest
Anyways, thanks for the heads up OP. I’ll keep an eye on this one

CK3 also just got the Chinese expansion.
Map goes all the way to Japan now and added in a shite ton of new govts and other shite.

CKII put out major releases for six years. I would be surprised if they stopped any shorter for CKIII.

Granted, but to buy the starter pack and this DLC is $64. To buy all currently released DLC is $94. History says those prices will get much better as more filler content comes out.

Think I'll wait until it comes out on humble choice. By then there should be several dlcs available and all its shite together. A 60 dollar price tag for a AA game and several announced dlcs before launch is a bit much for me. And I have over 3000 hours played.

One of my rulers caught one of his rivals (in his 50s) trying to sleep with his daughter (19 and already wed). So naturally, my ruler seduced and successfully knocked up his wife (who was in her 20s), then had her and their two sons imprisoned then executed. He developed a deep depression and threw himself from a high tower.
Pissed off a frick ton of people, including the king of the realm and had to fight off quite a few enemies. Went into a ton of debt hiring mercenary armies but eventually my ruler was able to survive.
