its not worth the price of the game, let alone paying a monthly fee
bethesda screwd up, they could of kept skyrim going, there were at least 2 more land masses they could of had as dlc. People were buying them.
Instead, they think they can get the sheep of their games to pay and keep paying for this game, good luck, many elder scroll fans were pissed at the bugs, non fixes, and weak dlc(except dragonborn)of skyrim. Also, how they refused to fix in game issues, yet worried about how many daggers it should take to max smithing.
Who gives a frick, it's a single player game, if i want to smith 200 iron daggers, then so be it, you should be worried about fixing the game, not on stupid shite. Journals were worthless, as they had 20+ broken quests.
Vampire attacks would wipe out store owners, making some towns worthless.
Sometimes gaming companies lose their way, 3arc did, as have dice. looks like bethesda has also.

Glad and sad at the same time.
Glad, I hated every second with all of the errors. Sad they are going to be spending so much time with this crap to try and make it work.
Where is Fallout 4?
I'll be on social security before they release the next standalone scrolls game.
Good excuse to finally dive into the Witcher series.

Bethesda who made Skyrim, etc. had nothing to do with ESO.
Zenimax Online made ESO, they are both subsidiary
companys of Zenimax Media.

So? I am sure there was an agreement not to release another Scrolls standalone for a long time.
How long did it take Blizzard to come out with another Diablo and Starcrat or Warctraft?
They don't want this to fail so they won't give people the option to continue along the standalone path. Hope I am wrong but I doubt it.

they took the skyrim people off of Skyrim, to work on other projects(fallout), while Zenimax worked on the mmo.
they could of kept going with skyrim for another year, then worked on fall out. Instead they didnt want to hurt the product(ESO), because 2 more dlc, would lead to many more hours of skyrim, less time for an MMO.
Elder scrolls people play the shite out of the game, they recreate characters and put 300+ hours into that character, then another, etc.
More i see of elder scrolls online, the worse it looks.

The game so far has been pretty lack luster to me. Definitely getting the F2P vibe also from it.

I haven't had the desire to log into it today

I'm one of those "sheep"
I don't buy into the bullshite some people are spewing because if their argument starts out with "UGH MONTHLY FEES?!" that person loses all credit.

The monthly fees have never been a problem. These games takes a large amount a resources to support the servers and future FREE updates to the game.
Monthly fees is only an issue if the game gets no free love and the developer charges for every improvement in the game.

For me, the monthly fees are just the final nail in the coffin. I knew there would be fees a long time ago, back when I was excited about getting it. I would expect it to have a monthly fee. The only question has been whether this game is worth that monthly fee. Right now, to me, it's not.
Although, with my son due in 2 months, it would be pretty difficult to justify (to myself and to my wife) tacking on another $15 to our monthly bills.

Monthly fees are not a problem, i paid for three EQ accounts and three WoW accounts. From what I have played of this game I don't even want to log in let alone pay for the game and $15 a month.

I am uninstalling the beta today - three weekends had been enough to know this is gonna flop even if it goes f2p. Just so many things not fun about the game.

read my post on the first page about the beta I played a few weeks ago, the game just isn't very good and is very generic. As a big Elder Scrolls fan, I really want to like the game but it far too generic of an MMO for me to enjoy playing.
This game reminds me a lot of SWTOR. I really wanted to enjoy SWTOR after being a big Star Wars fan growing up and a big fan of the KOTOR games. I played a few betas with friends that were really wanting to play it and we had fun but the first time we got in live and weren't on the same page/quests, shite went downhill fast. The game just wasn't good enough to not be playing with all of your friends.
The monthly fee just hammers out that I'm not going to play this live and I see this fizzling fast like SWTOR and going the F2P route within 6 months.

To me, MMO games are company ruiners.
WoW ruined blizzard, even though it was great for a long time. All of their other games feel average at best.
An MMO ruined bioware, their games around and following SWTOR sucked and I bet the same thing happens to bethesda.

It made them more money than anything else they made. How did it ruin them?

Their game quality these days is nothing compared to what it used to be.

Point about not having to team up.
Almost all MMOs you start out having basically solo missions/quest until about the lvl where you are in the Teena.
This game is making it hard to team up, but I haven't felt a MMO do a good job with teaming since City of Heroes.

It ruined their product for guys like me who enjoyed what the Diablo franchise was, and who don't like MMOs.
