I'm hearing there is also NG+ scaling in the dlc. So it's not just the item... looks like I'll make a new character. I'm not rolling in at NG+4.

Got through what I’m guessing is the first boss last night before calling it quits. The area he was in had a bunch of side paths that I need to go back and explore. Enemies haven’t been much of a threat yet but the boss was difficult

Got about 30-45 minutes of just wandering around in last night. Enemies can hit hard, but didn't come across anything that my level 300 character struggled to take down. The wooded section with the random screams did kind of freak me out a bit though.

I just beat Mogh and died at the same time and the game didn’t count it! What bullshite

Seriously! I purposely stayed in NG because I didn't want to do the DLC in NG+ (or NG++, ha), and they still are hitting really hard on my Level 220 character. However, I hit pretty hard too, so it hasn't been too bad

It could be worse. I've died at the same time as Fire Giant before and it did count it but I didn't get the runes. At least you can fight him again and get your runes. He gives you a shite ton of runes, especially if you take a gold pickled fowl foot.

Not sure if everyone is aware, but one of the new QoL improvements they made in the latest patch was to give you the option to enable "Mark New Items" and "Show Recent Items Tab" in the "Display" settings. It's super helpful to have those turned on so that you can easily find new items in your inventory that you pick up in the DLC.

Yes this is huge. You do have to turn it on in your settings though, it does not automatically turn on

If anyone needs to farm souls or Rune Arcs, I've been getting summoned pretty much instantaneously at Western Nameless Mausoleum.

I took out Godfrey (such a great boss) and so now am prepped for entering the DLC. This game really is on another level. The map with the main areas and extra ones are HUGE. Can’t wait to see what the DLC brings
