I was one of the few people who enjoyed DA2. I tried to play DA:Origins a few times but I just didn't care for it as much.. The battle system felt clunky to me. Then again, I played DA2 first.

I played them in order and like DAO better but thought DA2 was fun also.
Just watched the video and here is one beef, when did dragons get troll regeneration?
Chop the front leg to zero and poof instantly back to full hp, oh and let me fly around this mountain and you can start again.

Well I'm digging Origins. I need to learn how to use the tactics system better so I can let it fight the easier battles without me micromanaging though.

DA2 was maddening because they only used the same two or three dungeon layouts, the story was extremely linear with really the last choice in the game being the only one that matters and it really only changes the final boss and that's it.
DAO seemed to have a much more varied story with a pretty wide branch. Perhaps the biggest problem with DA2 was that you had very little character creation options. This severly lowered replay battle. I mean Skyrim and New Vegas were both pretty flawed games, but both were very fun and replayable and the mods made them 1000 times more fun. Not even mods could save DA2 (although I haven't even looked for mods for this game in a long time as I don't even own DA2 any longer, but at the time I got rid of it the "best" mod for it was a retexture for the main characters family or a super easy mode)

DA2 was literally made in 8 months. EA wanted a cash cow and DA2 was the sacrifice. DA:O was pre-EA. That's the difference.
