Anyone play this? I picked it up for $7.62 (currently on sale for $8.99 - well at least for me because it was bundled with Control which I already own; otherwise still only $9.99) due to have some Steam credit for probably selling some dumb shite awhile back.

Looks intriguing- I’ll come back here in 3 or so years to let you all know how it was.

Did you just start a thread to brag about having $1.37 in Steam credit?

fricking high society, wealthy assholes invading the Gaming Board.

Not about the credit, but about getting the game for $7.62. Because nothing says PC gamer like buying a game for super cheap with no time to play it, but just talking about the deal they got instead.

I bought it on sale years ago. Don’t think I’ve ever installed it. Let me know how you like it

It’s amazing!
but it absolutely is not for everyone.

It’s one of the densest games thematically of all time. And your choices will affect your experience. The way I played it, it was certainly a very bleak but funny experience

It is a rather nostalgically nihilistic game that attacks everyone’s politics too.

That being said, the way the game progresses is so well done and the way you interact with your leveling system and your path leads to tragically beautiful things.

This x1000. I enjoyed the shite out of it but have friends that gave up like an hour in. It is a really fun game but it isn't a "game" like you're used to.

I liked it. Someday I'll play a game like this as a total degenerate. Always trying to be moral in my gaming

I got stuck at one point but once I peaked at a walkthrough to get past that, the main storyline leading to the finale just kicked off and I went with it. There was probably a few more hours of side quests I could have gotten lost in. You could probably zip through the main story if you knew what to do but I think this game did a decent job of not making it super obvious so you just kept exploring.
