My focus has been helltide farming for gear and aspects. I'm happy with where I'm at, so I'm going to start burning through my sigils.

I just discovered Helltide. I can't believe I wasn't paying attention to that. I have done up to a tier 11 nightmare. It was challenging solo.

Yeah, if you're efficient, you can hit all four mystery chests in the hour and get 12-16 legendaries.

i had trouble with this. ive gotten a mystery chest prior to the 30 minute mark many times but it never reset.

yeah i used it. maybe it was just bad luck or buggy that time. i usually dont get to the helltides fast enough to get 175 shard in the first 30 anyway. i get distracted too easy and before i know it there onyl 35 minutes left by the time i start

This Tchort bitch is brutal right now. I added some wolves, stepped my tornado up. I might need to make sure I’m allocating things correctly.

They rotate at the top of the hour. Sometimes, you'll just get the two or they'll rotate a few minutes in/with a few minutes remaining.
They're generally good XP and a shot at banking aspects. I still can't seem to get the Avalanche boost though.

Man, I swapped out Pulverize for landslide and got her on my third try. Just hit level 18, so I’m making some good progress. I think I’m almost through act 1. I picked up Hurricane to see how that does. And yeah, I’m sticking with T2. It’s not too bad.

Hit 50 yesterday on my sorcerer. Trying to decide if I want to stick with chain lightning or switch to an arc lash build for the rest of my progression.

I’m going to have to keep fleshing out my build. I like the elemental aspects more than the werewolf bear strike stuff. Storm strikes and the wolves are pretty bad arse. I get OCD and worried I’m fricking my build up, so I’m going to have to read up before level 20.

Are the gear drops random? Essentially, you can’t seek out certain items?

correct
edit: you can modify new gear to an extent though.
Say you got a piece you like but one of the stat sucks or is in something you hate. the magic man vendor (i forget its real name) can change 1 stat on a piece of gear for a price. after that first change, only that particular stat can be "rerolled" by him further. each successive reroll costs more and more. im been rolling on a helmet last night and each rol is costing me about 1 million gold now.
so. i wouldnt suggest this until much later when gear replacement starts slowing down.

I'm a lvl 38 necro finishing up the story. A few quests in Act V. Just got back from a deployment a week ago so I'm trying to catch up.
