Reading through this thread is making me want to get RoS now. Thought about it before when I got back into it for a couple of weeks, before running out of content and money
But I have the Archeage Alpha to spend my time on and classes just started again... shite, maybe I should just close out Chrome and slowly back away from the computer

I played a lot of D2 back in the day. Had been putting D3 off, but I bit today and bought it on PS4. Trying to do some research on what class to play. I assume they are fairly balanced, but any advice would be appreciated. My favorite classes from D2 were Barb and Sorc.

Witch Doctor and Demon Hunter and my two favorites. I remember back in early D3 when WDs were the laughing stock of the community. Now they're OP as frick, or they were a month or two ago. That was interesting to see when I loaded up my old WD after like 2 years of not playing

WD isn't crazy OP (IMO), they just have the best gear synergies in the game. Class is completely gear dependent.

DH, WD probably the strongest classes right now.
But, it changes every major patch.
Wizards used to be OP as frick and half the people played them, now you have a better chance of catching herpes than seeing one in a game.

I've narrowed my options to Wizard, DH, and WD. Not sure which I want to do. I'll probably do all 3 eventually. I think WD is probably too difficult for a neophyte. May go Wizard for my first class.
