Torment one seems to be the popular difficulty but I've been doing 2 and seeing better drops

Ok, I guess I'll farm Normal for a while...any demon hunters here can tell me what numbers would be a good point to start torment?
Thanks for all the info.

personally, i'd say run rifts in public games on torment I.. you'll gear out pretty quickly and the blood shards can be used to help gear you out quickly.
500k should be more than enough dps

1.25mil damage
I didn't know this was even remotely possible.

it's really easy on wizards, harder on other classes

My barbarian is only class I have that can handle Torment at the moment. Just started back playing with the 2.0 patch. All of them are 70 now. Levelled the monk, wiz, DH, and WD from 60-70 in one night each just doing bounties.
Was sword and board with barbarian and doing T1 pretty easy. Slow, but I never died. Had a Fulminator with Thunderbolt proc on it and that was only dps I had, think it was like 300k dps or something pitiful lol, but 9 mill toughness made it ok. Had a thunderfury drop this morning and with same spec except dropped the armor boost to brawler, changed hammer of the ancients to WW and now breeze through T1. Mobs drop in one or 2 hits and the thunderfury procs constantly and 1 shots all white trash all over the screen. Its insane what the difference that weapon made lol.
Clearing Rifts now in 20 minutes or so where it was taking me 45 or something before.
Only doing T1 Rifts hoping for class drop while gearing out alts with bounties and blood shards till they are ready to move up

The barb I play with a lot has picked up I believe 3 Thunderfurries in the past week. He does a lot of lightning damage.
I just want a Kridershot to drop dammit
Had some good runs though tonight with whoever Zeus is on here. Legends were coming pretty steady on T2 then just dried up. Was a little odd, but I got at least 1 piece that is an upgrade so can't complain.

Up until this point I guess I've been fairly lucky in that some of the legendaries that I do get are actually usable (after enchanting). It's really damn discouraging to get two pieces I've been hunting after back-to-back that are completely unusable, though.

I've gotten

Odyn Son

I only get useless legendaries. And useless set amulets.

I've found only one set piece, but they were actually pretty good

Watching Netflix isn't gaming.

I have read through the links briefly in this thread, but if someone could answer these few questions about the expansion, it would be highly appreciated!
1. I have been playing originally D3 to try to justify buying xpack, when you get RoS, what benefits do you immediately get (other than Crusader) ?
2. Speaking of crusader, is it a fun class?
3. I have 1 level 60 character (Demon Hunter), what could I do with him when I upgade to RoS?
4. Lastly, does a lower level character (a level 15 WD) get any benefit from the xpack?
I haven't reall grasped the info on the xpansion. I have looked over class changes and things like that, but other info have not.
Thanks!

To the wizards out there, I'm just coming back and missing my perma archon and WW/Freeze builds.
I've tried a forked or living lightning builds with paralysis with some success, but the damage seems to be missing.
What have you guys done to overcome less crit damage?

I was sort of in the same boat. I had a 40 WD. Once the xpac came out, started playing regular game. Decided to get xpac.
Once you beat the new act that comes with the xpac you open up Adventure mode. This allows you to do "dallies" in different parts of the acts that give you loot and xp. There is also a currency called nephalam keys(not positive on that) but you use them to open rifts. Rifts are where you just kill a bunch of enemies until you fill a meter, then a boss comes out and when he pops you get even more loot and xp
IDK - Been busy lvling WD
When I upgraded, and launched into my WD game, it showed me the in game CGI trailer and instantly launched me into the new act. It was pretty dang fun.(once I completed this act, even though I was not level cap, I am now able to do bounties/rifts to get to level cap.) Which is better than grinding the same acts as before to hit 60
Hope that helps.

quote:It does, I believe that as you level your other characters on the account get a level or exp boost ( i am not sure the exact system) someone else could answer this.

Also fckking hate not having any sort of AH. Terrible trying to gear a toon for a certain type of buil.
The AH should have stayed up in some form.
