I've been pretty hard on this game but I hope they can get it back to D1 levels of fun.
I beat the raid for the first time this past weekend. It was fun to actually do a team activity.

That grind was a pain. Swapped to Synthocepts on my Titan to finish off the last 100+ kills and ran double grenades. Having the full ornament set does look nice, so it was worth it.

Yeah I only main Warlock, so I just stacked my melee recharge and ran SMG. Pretty much forgot about the objective, and just ran up on people trying to melee the frick out of them. The most annoying part was that only charged melees counted. The full set does look clean as hell though.

We’re in a new age of video gaming. Most full price games, that are single player at least, come with 30-40 hours of content. Developers know the only way to extend the life of these games is to offer DLCs or Loot Boxes to keep the player invested in it.
Look at games like God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, or The Last of Us. These games lose their replay ability once they are beaten. Maybe some people go back and beat them again, but the casual gamer will beat it and move on.
DLCs offer the ability to extend the life of a game while it’s successor is still in development.

Because it's retarded. The cost benefit just isn't there. I'm not saying he shouldn't be able to do it and I don't think he's responsible for every problem in the gaming industry today. I just think it's dumb.
