I hate the opening days of these kind of games. I'm lvl 20 w/ 130 power and I feel behind

I'm loving it. Loot system is a lot better, still have to grind but with tokens and materials getting legendary engrams is easier. I am level 20, and 222 power. PSN: Bonck1987 if you want to Strike it up.

Haven't got to play a ton but I like the game. I'm at level 11 with the 117 power so I'm okay with my pace so far. I know I'm nowhere near as ahead as some people but I don't feel underpowered either

Don't do any of the events in your milestones that say they give out 'Powerful Gear' until you hit around 260-265 or you're gonna have a bad time (remember Forever 29 from D1).

I'm really not far in at all and I'll even more emphatically say: the "glorified DLC" commentary is horse shite. This doesn't feel like the first one to me at all. Just the fact that you finish a mission and DON'T go to a loading screen revolutionizes the game. Sure, interface and systems can be similar, but how many sequels do you see nowadays that completely reinvent themselves between iterations?

I've played for 2 nights and am only 7 with 70 or so. The beginning of these games are stressful bc you will ALWAYS be behind someone. I like it so far. I love not have to farm for materials to complete missions. That grind sucked.

That first mission you get from the sniper (need to remember his name) it was a recommended power level of 30 and I was only 26. Found an area with 2 high profile targets and was able to get to 35. Wasn't an issue at all and was pretty fun.

Just made it to the Farm it looks like and completely agree with the below. They've tweaked the visuals of the enemies and general feel just a bit which I like. The enemies feel a little more alive looking if that makes any sense.

Really enjoying it. The story definitely feels more alive and meaningful. Titan void powers are a blast to use and feel more powerful than the old void powers. Feels like a different game. But it could be an expansion and I wouldn't argue.
Have they said why they created a new game and didn't just expand on destiny 1? Guessing it was limitations on the old system
