Got the curated auto rifle from the raid last night and wish ender.
Hit 584 on my hunter. I may two characters hit 590+ this week.

Once I get that I’ll pretty much have every weapon I want and can hang this game up until the next dlc

It is amazing. Rampage and fourth time's the charm. It feels like it never runs out if you can hit your crits.
Plus it makes running a kinetic special weapon more viable.

I need to play more. I'm 508 and have no business trying anything in the dreaming city yet. That has me motivated to pick up my pace after playing Spiderman.
Still haven't gotten an exotic since the expansion either. Anybody know what's up with that?

speaking of which, got the queenbreakers bow last night. the bullet magnetism for headshots on that thing insane. it's a beast in crucible/gambit.

The other night I hit level 44 and 500 PL. Is it still going to slow down even though I'm not at level cap?

I think so. Do all the bounties. Like all of em. You get a lot of xp and powerful gear.

Not until you hit 50. At that point, you will hit additional soft caps: 520, 540, 560, and 580.
All powerful will give you gear 5 over your highest possible power level. At 520, only nightfall, nightfall high score, spider bounty, dreaming city, and raid challenges will be 5 over. At 560, only end game dreaming city quests and raid will be 5 over. At 580, only the last couple of raid encounters and secret dreaming city quests will give 5 over. The challenges that fall off at each threshold will give 1 over. I'm not sure how prime engrams fit because they're inconsistent for me.

I prioritize my playtime on most bang for buck so to speak using the softcaps I listed above.
I used the higher tiered rewards to create power level gaps in my gear and then use the smaller rewards to fill them. I complete powerful gear bounties when I get them. I started running the nightfalls and dreaming city at 520 and first four raid encounters when I hit 550.
I also rotate between 3 characters to maximize power level gains week to week.

Finished the raid and got one thousand voices
Just missing trinity ghoul and black talon on exotic weapons
Eta: finished first char at 588 for the week. No reason I can't hit 595 on my last.

You're good for the first four encounters. We cleared it with a 560 last night.
