Tomorrow is the day. I am about to start my Steam pre-load!
I read there will be less guns which made the first one too easy. More melee weapons and more variety of those weapons.

Apparently you can import a character from the first one, keeping the level. I'll probably play it sometime in the middle of the week.

Ahh man. I played the first one on Xbox. That still doesn't justify $60 for it on Xbox vs the $30 I paid for it on PC.

Well that sort of sucks. I liked the melee weapons a lot more. Guns got boring really fast. I was just reading an article that said less but they only played the first hour of it.

Way more fun. The pistols weren't overpowered but the ARs really made it too easy.

my favaorite weapon was a Katana I got, late in the game. One shot.
part of the reason they were boring is because you basically had a AK47 and some really shitty pistols.
And the guns just weren't effective. It would take a half a clip to mow down 1 zombie.
Why put up with the wear and tear and hunting down sparse ammo when you have badass melee weapons?
From everything I've read the Dev team has catered RipTide to the communities suggestions. So, I'm looking forward to anything new they add.

I forgot what mod # it was but I got a blueprint for a badass knife. One stab and the zombies head blew up. Don't remember how it fared with the larger zombies
