I feel like the only person who enjoyed Days Gone. I just read an article that says a sequel will never happen.

Sure, it didn’t do anything great but did a lot of things good enough. They could have trimmed 5-7 hours worth of side quests. A little more variety in the zombies would’ve been nice. And I wasn’t a fan of the main protagonist all that much. All that said, it was a fun way to waste a few hours here and there. And the hordes, when you ran into one, a nice little rush. I would have loved to pick the story up after finding out those zombies were evolving. Am I the only one who had my hopes up to return to the Pacific Northwest?

I liked it but I thought the ending was weird. Not going to post spoilers but I thought a sequel based off that ending probably would have sucked.

It was a clunky mess that that particular studio probably wasn’t up to handle.

The fact that PS exclusives have largely been massive critical successes and Days Gone wasn’t certainly didn’t help, either.

Nah it has a cult like following. Dev said they sold 8 million copies and everyone has been raging for a sequel.

It's been on PC Gaming sub daily for weeks it seems now. Game is very popular and loved.

I played it months after it had been patched up and enjoyed it. I did think it was a tad too long and had a few clunky things going on but overall I liked it. Hopefully they consider a sequel down the road.

I loved this game. I played it later on, but after you get through the beginning it’s awesome. Taking down a horde single handedly. Disappointed to not see a sequel and see what happens after that ending with O’Brian.

I really enjoyed it and flew through it. Wish they would have a sequel

It was developed by a company here in Bend. When I heard about the game, I had my hopes up that it would have a replica of Bend in there, but it looks like it's just generic scenery. It does look like Oregon, though.

I liked it. I played it after it had been patched though. I heard it was very rough when it first came out.

I played it opening day, had high hopes for it. It was a bit clunky at first with a few bugs but I enjoyed the overall experience just the same. Nothing game breaking as far as games are more prone to releasing like nowadays.

i enjoyed it and think its underappreciated. i think the forced :kill this huge arse horde" missions were pain in the arse and it was a little long in the tooth but overall good gameplay and serviceable story. 7/10

My first reaction wasn’t a great one. I put it down for awhile. But when I picked it back up I didn’t really stop until I finished it.

I liked it more and more I played it.

They later came out and said that there were 8 million gamer tags that had trophies and real sales weren’t that high. That number doesn’t account for people borrowing the game or second hand sales.

You're not alone. Thought it was a great game with a nice twist at the end. Really hope it gets a sequel.

I haven't played it but saw some footage of someone else playing it on youtube and it looked like Pilot Butte was in the background. Does anyone know if any of the game takes place on it?

It's just a couple of hundred yards from my house and I take the dog up there just about every day. I'd love to get this if it's in there. The views from the top should be pretty amazing.

Not sure about that exact butte, however the game is set in the Pacific Northwest and is made by Bend Studios. Here is an article about how it has some other specific landmarks
