Not sure if this is the right board for this but I enjoy taking my kids to D&B. My kids enjoy the games for tickets whereas I enjoy the fun co-op shooters and sports games.

As far as the ticket games are concerned does anyone have a strategy for efficient ticket harvesting? I enjoy the push coin games but those aren’t fun for the kids.

Lastly, outside of the ticket games, what are your favorite games to play in any arcade? We usually will play a co-op racing game and do a couple rounds on the Halo game.

There really isn't one unless you are amazing at figuring out the timing of the games that give you bonuses for timing. I like the coin pushers and the ones with cards to collect can give you a big ticket boost every now and then. I went to an arcade one time that had a Simpsons soccer game. You just had to kick the ball past a moving Homer as many times as you could in like 30 seconds. It was extremely simple and paid out very well.

Dave and busters is Trashy. Unless nobody is in there...then it’s just an arcade with sports bar food.

I have been to a couple inside the loop of Houston and they were far from clean but the location close to me is cleaner than any arcade that I have ever visited.

Anytime I see someone talk about D&B I think of this IASIP scene:

Dave & Busters

I need to watch IASIP more

Not so subtle brag: set the high score on NBA Hoops and we have about 20k in tickets now.

Need to go to a good location. As soon as the one in Nola opened there was a shooting.

Correct, I’ve gone to a couple other locations but the one by me is near an upper middle-class neighborhood so it’s very safe and clean.

Gotta be better than chucky cheese. The few times I have been there I felt like everyone was looking at each other like we were 30 de ones from a race war.

There is a space invaders game in my D&B but I didn’t know that it paid out tickets. Will have to check that out next time.

bad93ex,

I saw you mentioned Conroe ISD in another thread...

We go to the new D&B on 45 by Home Depot all the time. There is a game towards the front with a 3D building where a Kong Kong type guy smashes buildings and you have to avoid cops & planes dropping bombs.

It is very easy and can get you hundreds of tickets and you can easily beat it & max out.

We have mac daddys here. Your card is rechargeable and holds all your tickets.

Making my son save all his for about 8 years and then he/I can get every big prize at once. Gonna cost me about 4k over those 8 years but frick it.

Are you thinking of Rampage? If so that’s an awesome game and actually went meta by having one of the characters in the movie destroy a Dave and Buster’s.
