what, you don't like how fast Zombie and I run through this game? I mean, I don't hate Zombie for being able to beat this game in like 1 sitting

Hydra down. Easy as I remember him to be. Gonna work through the other part of Darkroot Garden later.

I am making it through this game ladies and gents! (prob all gents)

I got to a gargoyle that came to life on the roof. I died and decided to just try another part of the castle I am in.

I found this elevator back to Firelight shrine!

And I got this halberd. HOLY CRAP. It is amazing! I need to buff my strength a little more, but I am doing well just two-handing that!

I think i'll grind in the castle and get up 2 or 3 levels. That will get me to and past level 30!

ONE QUESTION: Why does one fire/save area give me 5 estus flasks while another gives 10?!

You use humanity to return to human form and then use another one to "Kindle" the fires. That causes them to give you 10 instead of 5. You have to do it for every bonfire though.

He approaches it with such childlike joy and wonder. It is awesome to see his progress.

On my sl1, I have Manus in the dlc and Seathe, BoC and Gwyn left in the vanilla game. In my first one bro run I had an fully ascended pyro flame, using a lightning / fire club is a little more challenging to say the least..

It isn't bad. Just requires a lot of attention. I made it outside and saw the big arse dude loading boulders but died shortly after. Back to the Parish...

I think Sen's was the least stressful area for me. I just flat out enjoyed every bit of it. Which happened in no other area in the game.

Agreed. I think it's a fantastic level. Just not one I felt like tackling after a long day.

Make sure to hit the bonfire and unlock the shortcut - especially if you don't feel like immediately going to Anor Londo.

and in case you don't know, the shortcut is a cage you ride to the bottom on Sen's, you have to unlock the cage with a key you get from jumping across the bridge with the hole when you first get on the top of the roof in sen's

P.S: You are welcome

Same here. It just feels like a safe place to me. Ive got that entire level memorized. Hell, I've probably got the whole game memorized at this point. But I do love Sens.

Me too. Starting up Dark Souls 2 tonight. Going to roll a sorceress, and take her all the way through the SOTFS edition. DLC and all. I've already got my build pretty planned out as well.

I got to level 30, then 31, then 32!

I went to a spot that I like grinding a lot. This time I decided to throw on a black knight at the end...forcing myself to recover those souls if I died. And boy did I. I am like 0/6 versus the guy. BUT I am whittling him down. I tried to throw firebombs at him the last time I faced him, but I can't do that without being slashed to death! I even tried walking up and back down a turret. That way seems to work, but it just takes too long for my liking.

The coolest thing that happened was I saw this weird script on the ground I haven't seen before...it said to summon spectre. I did it and I freaked out it was a bad guy...then I realized it was a good guy! He went places with me and helped me clear out areas. I killed this wizard throwing bolts that pinged against the walls, because the other guy helped me.

I rounded a corner to see my friend die and I was like NOOOOOOOOO! But he definitely helped me. That wizard isn't there anymore!

After I leveled up I went to go see if I could face that gargoyle. I think I'm 3 levels higher than last time I faced him. I got him down 1/2 health then all of a sudden another gargoyle comes to fight me! WTF!

And they start breathing fire at me after that! WTFx2!

That's scary. I might go grind some more and beat that Black Knight guy before I take on the gargoyle duo!

Your level is fine, it won't matter too much if you don't learn the bosses. The biggest piece of advice I can give about the gargoyles is to not lock on and roll through their attacks. You can summon the npc before the fog gate if you're in human form.
