Try getting your equip load to half or less of your maximum equip load.

I upped my endurance and it helped. Got through the Taurus demon and the downstairs one with help. Now its either get roasted alive by the dragon or do no damage to the creepy forest of ice giants. I know the dragons tail is its weakness but I can't seem to get to it without getting annihilated in one hit.

Tip: Get a shitload of arrows, and a bow. Go under the bridge, shoot the dragons tail with arrows about 30x. You'll get the drake sword. Equip the drake sword. Go on the bridge, stand behind the pillar, shoot the dragon with an arrow, switch to the drake sword with two hands, meet the dragon on the bridge and whack him in the face once, then haul arse back down under the bridge. Repeat a out 10x.

I thought I should probably grab the bow from the merchant in Undeadberg, but I figured shooting his tail was too easy a solution.
It's stressful how you kill a demon only to run into a dragon or ice forest monsters. Where's my break where I get to kill tons of easy shite?

Whoever said you never feel cheated in this game is full of shite. Fighting Gwyn is full of BS. I roll backwards and his sword swing covers basically 50 yards. I roll back out of the way his go-go gadget arm reaches out 15 feet and snatches and kills me. frick this dude

i haven't gotten touched by him the last 3 times ive fought him. parry and riposte over and over and he is a joke

I just had to get my timing down. If you ever played with me, you'd know that any time I get killed it was BS and I was obviously wronged in some way
It took me quite a few tries to get the timing down for him. I'm pretty decent at parrying too. After I beat him I was like "Seriously?!?!?!!?" Once I got the timing down, nothing to it.
Do what you will with this thread. I've completed the game so I allow it to go away. Or stay. I won so I don't care

So is Dragon's Dogma still on the table? I started it and it's pretty fun. Getting back in to Skyrim and possibly Deus Ex though
