Cyberpunk 2077 Patch Release
Looks like they finally released the next-gen patch. Watching some of it on twitch and it looks nicer and the AI is better. I might redownload it after I play through Horizon Forbidden West.
File Size is down from 104gb on the ps4 to 56gb on the ps5 too.

The game has been sitting on my entertainment center for over a year. I only played about 30 minutes of at launch and decided to wait for the next gen patch.

Pretty much the same but was digital and didn't even play it after hearing all the bugs. Been waiting for this for sure

I played through this on series x when it first came out, really enjoyed it even though it was buggy as I really had no expectations going in. Has it been updated enough at this point to justify another run through?

From what I have gathered is this patch is really just a quality of life update, not really a ton more content. Maybe wait to see if they plan on a DLC for another playthrough.

That's all I need right now, as long as the next-gen version runs smoothly I'm good. The guys you were watching, did they run into bugs? I don't want to watch anything so I don't spoil any of the game

No bugs from what I saw. AI interactions were a ton better, and it just looks smoother overall. Also it looks like the cars handle a lot better too.

I'd say more like its adding enough features so that it meets the bare-minimum you'd expect from modern RPGs.
Purchasable apartments with some interactions, editing appearance after character creation, and fixers having a standing element so you work your way up vs having the entirety of side jobs available immediately add some needed depth
But yeah most updates are things like better crowd AI, combat rebalance, and water that actually reacts when bullets hit it.
Overall I'd say it is today where it should have been a year ago. But its a big step in the right direction.

Downloading so I can finally play it, you should have heard my og.ps4 try to run this
I tried the PS4 version on PS5 and it wasn't optimized at all, perfect game to play before Elden next week

Lost interest in the initial launch window. Did a nomad playthrough and probably made it halfway through the narrative.
Rolled a corpo and he looks like Jared Leto from blade runner so I guess I’m playing as a douche in my head canon.
The game looks prettier but the gunplay mechanics are still the same busted floaty nonsense as before. I don’t know if you can put the hype genie back in the bottle after that dogshit launch but I guess I’ll try to power through.
