Yeah this game sounds like something that’s not nearly accessible enough for my life right now. I’ll keep waiting for fable

Uhh… what else are you supposed to do with a game?

Also why do I get the feeling this guy would be sucking the game off it had tons of shoehorned bullshite diversity quota stuff in it?

Most complaints about gameplay is the lack of handholding and objective markers.

No tip screen popping up to tell you how to complete a puzzle. . .or even that it IS a puzzle

I can see this being annoying. In the age of the internet, anyone that doesn't want to fool with this is just going to look things up online. There should always be an option for waypoint markers even if it's turned off by default.

The thing with a game like TotK is that the puzzles were mostly all segmented off into shrines so it was very easy to know when you're going through a puzzle. The puzzles were also intuitively designed and had multiple ways to complete them.

From the videos I've seen the puzzles appear to all be in the sky islands, not the ground areas.

There's also the ability to reflect the sun from your sword that highlights loot through the horizon.

I think people are complaining just to complain.

I think it is less that they were intuitively designed and more that a basic puzzle was given a bunch of tools that the user could use to beat it multiple ways.

I knew how to beat most TotK puzzles in the obvious way, but it was more fun to use the skills/items available to do it with some ingenuity.

Yep. If these loser game journalists had their way this what the GOAT game of all time would have looked like.

Probably the most glowing review of the game. Likens the game actually to a GTA sandbox.

I won't hold that against the game. Probably an outlier, since I don't think the game is woke.

He made a big stink about running to Bluesky because people on X were too mean, and now he has run back to X like nothing has happened.

He also has terrible opinions on video games.

Don't know the guy but none of this matters. It's not real life.

Now this actually matters.

He normally fellates games that are woke, and rails against people who don't like woke games. He likes to turn shite into a leftist soap box.

But nobody is saying this game is woke, so maybe he just couldn't find anything to hate, try as he might.

Guys like him and drinker are the reason I only listen to game reviewers and commenters that DO NOT talk about politics.

Legendary, MrMatty, Luke Stephens, Fleekazoid, and Burnt Peanut

The moment a guy goes political or social justice/culture warrior. . .I drop him. I don't need to be told what to think or how to vote, ffs.

Amazon supposedly didn't ship any of the pre-orders and people are getting emails saying their order will be delivered on May 1st or 2nd.

Coming from Black Desert, I am so far surprised at how clunky the game feels to play. Gives me Where Winds Meet vibes, but game was simultaneously released on phones.

Copying the jump mechanics from 1997's Elder Scrolls Battlespire was a choice
