I assumed with a November release that holiday sales would be high, but now it’s June and you still can’t get one?

I have the prior X-Box and XBox Gold and GamePass(all the 2021 sports games included) is only $15/month.

Also noticed games went up to $70. Have many here had any luck buying one? Is the X Box that much of an upgrade over the XBox One X? I haven’t checked out many side by sides. Just wondering what y’all’s opinion is.

Semiconductor shortage, demand and bots.

It's not just consoles. Everything with semiconductors is having production issues.

We are lucky that this is all they have gone up. The price for a game has pretty much stayed the same my entire lifetime.

I was able to get 3 or 4 (can't remember) for me and buddies without trying too hard.

Hotstock app and have accounts set up with BB and Walmart, you'll get one within a few weeks.

My son lucked up online during Thanksgiving and snagged an Xbox series X. None of his friends have been able to get one yet.

During Mardi Gras we saw a group/family(?) in the Orlando airport carrying on 3 PS5 boxes.

There’s a massive shortage of chips for a variety of reasons. So many things being smart, the increase in crypto mining, increase in gamers, supply chain issues, labor issues do to virus among other things.

The Xbox series x has some cool features like the quick resume and how fast it is. But I wouldn’t say it’s a huge leap yet. As game creators start using the power of the next gen consoles we would likely see the gap widen.

If you have a Xbox one X it’s not much. If you have the original Xbox one it’s a bigger jump

Upgraded from a One X to Series X.Loading times are super fast and you can play just about every game now in 4K 60 fps or lower resolution at 120fps. That being said I haven't experienced anything that really blows me away yet. I would still try to get one when you can because this shortage is showing no signs of getting better and will probably still be an issue when the tru next gen games start rolling out later this year.

I haven't tried real hard to get one because of this. I do want one and will buy it when it falls in my lap. But For the most part it sounds like it's not a huge leap at this point.

Honestly? I considered waiting on "revision 2" at this point, if we get a full year in and it's still hard to get.

It's because at the distances that most people sit back from their TV, most can't tell the difference between 1080p and 4k.

I did this same thing for months on end and nothing. i gave up.

Plenty are for sale rt now for $800 and up though.

Im still just going to wait and I hope all those fricks that bought them to sell them eventually have to sell them less than what they paid for.

I paid 130 for an Xbox one just over a year ago and it’s been a colossal piece of shite and I think it’s finally died, even finding Xbox ones is hard, no GameStop within a 100 miles has one. And I’m worried about buying another lemon.

Follow Wario64 and Matt Swider on Twitter and make sure your notifications are on. You will be able to get a series X quick if you can jump on when they drop and stick with it.
