For those that are only following on here, and not discord, I will copy and paste the announcement I just put on there. It has new info on the next tournament. I'll also copy and paste it into the OP.

Tournament 1 ends tonight, and I think it went pretty well. I found some flaws, that we will correct this time around. Here are some announcements, and changes for tournament two.

- People were asking for another tournament this weekend, so you got it. Tournament two will begin on Friday and last until next Thursday. (This will be the normal schedule from here, until we reach enough teams to run two tournaments in a week).

- Since the tournament is a week long, each individual will be able to have two entries, instead of just one. You can run with the same squad twice, or run a second round with a different squad. Totally up to you, but you will be able to enter twice in the week.

- When registering your team in #tourney_registration you will now be required to put in the KD of each player on your team, along with their ID. Reason for this is, if we get enough participants the tournament will be broken into 2 tiers. One for below 1.0 KD and above 1.0 KD (it will be the average KD of the squad). Putting no KD will result in your automatically being put in the above 1.0 KD tier.

- When entering your scores in #screen_shot_results you should post a SS of the final kill screen, showing total kills of your team as well as posting the results from the COD Companion app. This shows a time stamp, and allows us to confirm that it is not a SS from an earlier game you are just posting now. I understand it may be a little pain, but it allows to keep any cheating from happening. If you look at the results channel, @pankerton did a perfect job of posting results as they should be. Doing it this way makes my life a HELL of a lot easier.

- Your 3 hour period will now be a hard start time, instead of floating, like the first round. You can still do as many warm up games as you'd like, but once you get your first game you would like to score you will need to post it in the #screen_shot_results channel, with the end game kill screen, and COD Companion app, with time stamp. From that point, your three hour clock will start. If you score three higher games in the three hours, they can replace your first score, but the 3 hour clock does not reset.

If I start a match at the 2:58 mark, will that match still count towards the score?

Yes. When you post the COD Companion app it will show the time stamp of the time the game ended. If it ended after the 3 hours, you can look at the minutes played. If the minutes played shows the game started before the 3 hours was up, you are good.

I was about to say. You really need to put a clock in. It is silly that you can cherry pick what 3 hours you want to submit.

I think a good option is to have them clock in to start their 3 hour period even before they get their first game in. But your option is okay too.

Well there was a clock in tourney 1, it just floated. If you bumped your first score off the clock would push to your next score. People could play for 8 hours this way if they wanted, and it made it less about skill and more about a marathon.

Yeah. I just wanted to allow some warm up games. This way is risky too, because if you have a decent game and don't start the clock on it that game can no longer be used. You could shoot yourself in the foot by not starting.

It just gives people who have more time to play too much of an advantage when they can cherry pick their best 3 hours. But it's your tourney, just an opinion.

You can't cherry pick your 3 hours. Once you decide to start, the clock keeps rolling.

I’m not big on the “clock starts after you submit your first game” as you can play til you have a big game, then you’re just chasing two games in the rest of the three hours.

I’d rather you have to stare your three hour period beforehand and your top 3 scores come from that time period.

We could possibly switch it to that in the coming weeks. Just this change is a big difference from week 1. I'll see how it goes and then decide from there.

It really doesn't matter either way. It's more encouraging to get higher scores.

Congrats to Bressus and his crew for winning the week 1 tournament with a whopping 135 points. I'm not sure who Breesus is on here, but congrats.

The week 2 tournament is now underway. Obviously there is some really good players on here, but don't be discouraged from joining by that. We are going to try to break it down into two tiers, so sign up.

It's me. No relation to the breesus who post here.
If our scores are a bit too high we don't have to play going forward. It was fun to lock in for it one time.

We’re coming for that score baw

I see all of y'all are on PSN, y'all playing with crossplay on or off? Still so dumb that Xbox doesn't even have that option, especially when I'm playing with some not so great buddies.

Bama's crew scored 100. The 2-5 scores were close. Nobody is out of range to be able to win.
