100% of it was in his collectors. I could've just dropped 50 archers and been done with it, but wanted the trophies too.

Why are goblins not wanted when they do more damage than barbs?

because they have 0 health.

i dunno how the AI works, but i have noticed that my troops will not switch to an enemy castle troops if they are already attacking a building, but new ones in the area will atack the enemy troops.

but i just avoid the whole thing and drop potions on the enemy troops once they are all grouped together.

im in no hurry to get to th8. i wanna get my defences caught up which could take quite a while.

healers in the clan castle can heal buildings?

I've been having pretty good success with a 40 barb, 20 gobs, 12 giants, 4 wall breakers, a healer, and 36 minions. Plus a rage spell and king/queen/clan castle if needed. Counting the minions as my archers. Only cost 69k elixir, 36k gold, and 216 DE. It's pretty easy to find a base that has 69k+ resources available to take.

I just release the barbs first, then the wb's, then the giants/healer, then the minions. If they get stopped at one of the walls release the rage spell then, if not wait till they get inside to the keep. Wait for them to break through the walls and do work on some of the defense, then release the goblins to clean up.
