yeah he's not being honest with himself. (Who is "he"?) I gem my BK 5 levels at a time... It's not an upgrade until you get a hero ability upgrade.

I gem when I get iTunes gift cards primarily (aka. Christmas, birthdays, graduation, easter, etc), but I've also dropped a couple 20s when I get impatient. I've probably spent over $100 of my actual money and no idea how much in gift cards. Not ashamed to admit it...

I stack gems from gem boxes, trees, etc and just use them when the one gem boost comes around. Every now and then I'll gem to finish off or start an upgrade. I never boost spells, barracks, etc. unless it's one gem and I have a couple hours to sit there and raid

Idk. He's only lvl 10. So the time hasn't been more than a few days up until this point. I doubt I can keep it up past 15.
