Civilization VI Major iOS Discount

Just a heads-up... Civilization VI for iOS has a pretty major discount in the App Store right now. This is the full game (minus DLC and online multiplayer) and normally sells for almost $60 (even on the iPad). It's available for $4.99 right now, which is an absolute steal!

Great game, but I would recommend purchasing the DLC which greatly improves upon the game. Light-years better than Civ V.
If you struggle with the higher difficulties watch Potato McWhiskey on youtube. He does a great job teaching and explaining the game mechanics, city planning, combat, etc.

Thanks for the tip, J. The DLC is also available on the App Store, but I'm not sure if there's any discount on those. I'll keep an eye out for them.
I haven't even played VI yet... I've played all of the Civs starting from II but I just haven't had as much time to invest in a long game for awhile. I'm hoping now that I have this on my iPad I'll be able to dip into it a little bit more.

DLC is available, but are 20 and 30 bucks respectively. They also have a couple of civ packs at cost 3-5 bucks each. I’ve had the base game on my phone for a couple of months and 3 of the civ packs have released on 24 hour flash free downloads.
Haven’t seen the main dlc packs discounted yet and I doubt they will. Probably depend on people buying the dlc at full price to offset the massive discount they give for the base games

I think 3 was my favorite also, but I haven't tried VI and have only dabbled a tiny bit with IV and V.

Civ VI requires way more micromanaging and future planning with the districts and their adjacency.
Dont get me wrong Civ V is still a great game, but VI is a different animal and more enjoyable IMO.
A couple of the civilization packs are worth it, but some of them really suck.

Fact. Diety needs at least 3x my military power before I get nervous.
That being said, I was playing greedy a week or two as go and on turn 50 or so Shaka bum rushed me and completely wiped me out of the game in about 15 turns. I was dumbfounded.
