Cheap laptop for Crusader Kings 3?

I'm a console gamer. I know, I know. My laptop is 7 years old and my daughter uses it for school now anyway. I played Crusader Kings 2 on it and really liked it and would like to get something that can run 3 but I would rather not spend $800 to play one game. Anyone know something in the $300 range that can run this? Tia

I couldn’t make it past 5 mins with crusader kings 2. I really wish I could dive deep into things like you guys.

Haha I hear you. When I first played the game, there was no tutorial. You just started on "tutorial island" (Ireland) and hoped for the best. The first time my heir changed cultures because I used my highest spec vassal as their tutor without realizing they might shift to their culture made me want to murder someone...

Laptops are currently sold out and/or overpriced everywhere. Bargain hunting during a stay at home pandemic with massive chip shortages is less than ideal :P
