Yeah I have better success with the werewolf. The ninja is too fast and runs ahead of everyone and takes all the damage. He's good for the arena bc every few attacks he takes 2k+.

I'm really liking this 40:1 setup. Im 9/10 now. 2/2/2 garrisons. Heroes 95 - 114. Level 15 hero bases. Towers 8/8/7/7
114 Druid 4/9
112 TG 4/9
109 Pumpkin 4/9
100 Spirit Mage 4/9
95 Champion 4/9 interchangeable for my 100 Snowzilla 4/9 but I've started leveling and using Champion for stuns for the boss fights.

I'm liking it too, 15/18 on E whereas before I was struggling with D bad. Garrisons 0/0/1, bases 15, towers 8/7/7/7 (just got to 8/8/7/7)

Ninja 97
TG 96
Paladin 96
Champ 93
All 3/9 skills.
I had high hopes for that 650 gem bonus I got for reaching a 6* hero, but I came up empty on the hero rolls. I think the last time I rolled a legendary was in December or January. Shitty cold streak.

It really depends on the hero, and what you want to be geared for. The best talents for HBM are not necessarily the best for arena or boss.
That being said, I have 4/5 revitalize on Pumpkin Duke and that is the shite for arena and boss. Doesn't help much in HBM.
I think best thing for Druid is Berserk.
Heavy blow can be really helpful for stunning the boss.
1 hero with revive is almost mandatory early on for boss fights to do well.

Trying to stay up till 9 isn't working for me, I'm usually knocked out by 8:30. Tonight I should be able to since I'm off tomorrow, but any way we can try around 6pm tomorrow afternoon?

Well frick me, just lost 2 in a row this morning. This morning, the A.I. on the enemies decided frick those towers, we're going in attacking heroes. How the frick is this A.I. so random?

Thanks for the tip on the base set up. I finally cleared F this morning; then, I made it to G5 before the heroes stomped me.

I don't think you will have enough walls. I think for this setup it's really crucial to have 3-deep walls where they are, otherwise the attackers will bust through and make a weak point.

I just abandoned 40:1, too much wall jumping and wiping going on. Yesterday was lucky. I'm going back to:
Feels much better, less random, just took G without loss of heroes or towers.
The 4 separated sections of buildings I found helped to break up the attacks. Usually if you make a full circle, after G1 or G2 all the buildings are gone. With this setup, there were still buildings in G5, I've never even seen that before.
